24 HOUR CRISIS HOTLINE

Pride Posse is a therapeutic support group for LGBTQ+ youth in Middle Tennessee who are in grades 8-12. This is a safe space to talk about gender identity, sexual orientation, and anything else you’re going through. This group includes 5-10 participants and a licensed mental health therapist. Each week we check-in and share what’s going on with us. Some people like to share a lot, and some people like to listen a lot. We also do activities that help us to connect, support each other, and learn about mental health. This group is intended for young people who are dealing with mental health concerns such as depression, self-harm, social anxiety, or other issues that cannot be addressed well in our other programs, which tend towards larger groups.

Intake Meeting with the Therapist and a Parent/Guardian. Before youth start coming to Pride Posse, we will schedule an initial intake meeting with the therapist, youth, and a parent or guardian.  During this time, the therapist will also review important information about limits to confidentiality, and Oasis counseling procedures. If you have any questions or concerns about this intake meeting please contact us.

Free Services. Oasis Center recognizes that mental health care isn’t always a budgeted expense, and so we are committed to offering all of our quality counseling services free of charge.
